's Internship Project

Q:  How’d you get here?

I started my career at Point Park University in 2016 as a journalism major with every intention to one day work for a newspaper. On a trip to Italy for an international media course, I had the pleasure of meeting with an advertising agency. The excitement everyone had about every project they've done made me realize that's what I wanted my career to be -- and I wanted that excitement in my life and the work I'd do. I picked up an advertising and public relations minor and finished out my time at Point Park in December of 2019. After graduating, I took a job at an agency doing advertising operations and fulfillment. I'd missed the creativity aspect of marketing, so I came on board with Responsival as a Marketing Account Manager.

Q:  Favorite project with Responsival?

Nothing yet since I just started, but I'll get back to you on this one!

Q:  What inspires your work?

After doing some marketing work for a small nonprofit in Pittsburgh for a while, I realized I loved helping small businesses in any way I could. It's such a great feeling seeing a small business succeed, and if I can utilize my skills to set them up for that success, I know I'm doing my work right.

Q:  What do you listen to while you work?

Q:  What do you do outside of work?

Outside of work, I play fetch or cuddle with my kitty, Larry. I love to cook, bake, fish, kayak, go for walks, go swimming, etc. I also listen to probably too many true crime podcasts for my own good.

Q:  Is a hotdog a sandwich?

Yes and no. Yes because it's in a bun. No because it feels wrong to classify it as a sandwich.
