I am currently a senior at the University of Pittsburgh and this is my third internship with Responsival! My sophomore year I was browsing a platform called Handshake for internship positions and came across the company. After viewing their website design and client list, I knew I wanted to work with the company. I sealed the deal with an interview and haven't looked back. With such an incredible team and awesome clients, I wouldn't want to work with anyone else!
My favorite project thus far with Responsival has been creating a blog post for our client, Smokehouse Grill, during my first internship. I loved getting a hands-on feel for what exactly goes into a blog post. From SEO, to formatting and researching. The whole process was a lot more involved than what I ever could have imagined and I developed a newfound level of respect for our content writers and what they do.
I love what I do and the team I work with, so it makes my work not feel like work! I enjoy having the ability to be creative and build my skillset, so I truly look forward to each and every project I can get my hands on.
I love painting and working on projects for my own small business. When it's nice outside you can almost always find me out hiking or hanging out by the lake.
I would have to respectfully say that a hotdog is not a sandwich. Why? Well, for starters a sandwich is meant to be closed. If you closed the bread surrounding the hot dog itself, then it would possibly be considered a sandwich, but then people would look at you like you've never seen a hot dog before because that is not how a hot dog is meant to be consumed. Secondly, a hot dog fits into its own category, it does not conform to the sandwich category and I would imagine hot dogs would be pretty offended if we labeled them as such. Lastly, the National Hot Dog and Sausage Council claims that a hot dog is no longer considered a sandwich.
