I had been working in marketing for non-profits and in a customer facing role at a very popular theme park when I got my Master's degree. I had an epiphany on a trip to NYC after touring an agency that, in the right position, I could combine my passion for both marketing and customer service. I was researching agencies in Pittsburgh and...the rest is history!
I've loved getting to work with RiseNY. Between being a giant theater fan and having so much tourism work experience, I've loved getting to work with a company that's changing the landscape of Times Square and adding a new way for visitors to learn more about NYC!
I thrive off of helping others and knowing I'm doing my part to make the world a better place. I'm also constantly inspired by Leslie Knope not let people get in the way of my passion and enthusiasm - "One person's annoying is another person's inspiring and heroic."
I am a huge theater nerd - both going to see shows and being in them! You may see me on some of Pittsburgh's stages if you go to see shows. I also love binge watch TV shows, especially comedies. I also love photography, baking, and theme parks.
I've been too distracted by the "oceans are soup" discourse to even think about this. And yes, the ocean is soup.
