Internal Sales Lead

day to day overview

Responsibilities

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Forecast sales, develop “out of the box” sales strategies/models and evaluate their effectiveness
  • Evaluate customers skills, needs and build productive long lasting relationships by maintaining and expanding a client database
  • Meet or exceed monthly quota for business bookings and closed sales targets
  • Ensuring timely communication with internal and external stakeholders throughout the sales and immediate post sales process
  • Scope prospect clients  to ensure that the projects are the right fits for the Responsival team and that they fall within revenue and margin guidelines
  • Communicate effectively with potential clients to establish their project scope and communicate with the client success team to ensure a successful and complete transfer of knowledge.
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
  • Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
  • Collaborate with the Executive team on potential new revenue opportunities
  • Represents company at important business functions, community events, industry training and events, and networking opportunities.
  • Updates job knowledge by remaining aware of new regulations, participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
  • Any other duties not listed here but that the company feels adequate for the employee’s role or expertise, as approved by the executive team.

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience
  • Track record of over-achieving quota
  • Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
  • Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Experience working with CRM softwares like Monday.com
  • Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management
  • Working knowledge of website development, SEO, design best practices and digital marketing strategies including social media and email marketing
  • Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Self motivated and driven
  • BA/BS degree in Sales, Marketing, Communication or other related field of study

Salary

$39,000 base salary PLUS generous commission structure
