E-Commerce Account Manager

day to day overview

Responsibilities

  • Be a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to our e-commerce clients
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills and a personable, customer-focused approach to helping clients 
  • Proactively reaching out to Responsival’s existing client base to ensure needs are met and notify of new services and improvements for their business 
  • Coordinate with team members to plan, execute and complete projects, updates and new services in a timely manner. 
  • Perform website updates in Shopify, Webflow and Wordpress when needed for clients
  • Be familiar with Shopify apps and integrations like Klaviyo, Privy and others. 
  • Be comfortable and knowledgeable in explaining analytical analysis of the website experience and make suggestions for improvement, when appropriate. 
  • Represents company at important business functions, community events, industry training and events, and networking opportunities.
  • Updates job knowledge by remaining aware of new regulations, participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
  • Any other duties not listed here but that the company feels adequate for the employee’s role or expertise, as approved by the executive team.
what we expect

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as an Account Manager,  E-Commerce Strategist or similar Digital Marketing role
  • Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition.
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Excellent client-facing and internal listening, negotiation and presentation abilities through either written or verbal communication to provide client-focused solutions to customer needs. 
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Familiarity with web design principles and HTML
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in E-commerce and website UI/UX
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Business Administration, Marketing or relevant field

Salary

$40,000 - $50,000 depending on experience level and tenure PLUS the opportunity for commission
