Digital Marketing Analyst

day to day overview

Responsibilities

  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports for website, email, social media and paid search including, but not limited to metrics like;  leads, conversion rates, website traffic and social media engagement comparing them to our SEO goals and benchmarking data. 
  • Track important SEO and web traffic metrics including organic traffic, conversion rates and time spent on page. 
  • Perform competitive analysis and identify gaps in our content, keyword research or areas of improvement in our web design.
  • Analyze sales funnels and customer intents measuring ROI of online and offline advertising campaigns. 
  • Execute tests, collect and analyze data and results, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns
  • Forecast trends and recommend website, SEO and social media campaign optimization recommendations
  • Work closely with Design, Marketing and Account Management teams to assist in reporting and recommendations to optimize customer experience. 
  • Research products, services and current strategies to identify new opportunities within SEO trends and stay up-to-date with new tools and practices
  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
  • Represents company at important business functions, community events, industry training and events, and networking opportunities.
  • Updates job knowledge by remaining aware of new regulations, participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
  • Any other duties not listed here but that the company feels adequate for the employee’s role or expertise, as approved by the executive team.
what we expect

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Digital Marketer, Data Analyst or similar Digital Marketing role
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition. 
  • In-depth experience with website analytics tools including Google Analytics, Aherfs, Facebook Marketing, Mailchimp and more. 
  • Proven SEO and paid advertising campaign management and improvement success 
  • Understanding of ranking factors, search engine algorithms, and search engine optimization practices
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Experience implementing and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
  • Familiarity with web design and HTML
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, Marketing or relevant field

Salary

$48,000 - $55,000 depending on experience and tenure
